On March 6-8, 1986, a major conference on community strategies for fighting crime was held at Atlanta, Ga.
Abstract
The conference, entitled 'Redefining the Crime Debate,' was sponsored by the Department of Public Safety, City of Atlanta; the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People; and, the Department of the Mayor, Office of Citizen and Community Affairs, City of Atlanta. (Conference co-sponsors are listed at the conclusion of the proceedings.) The agenda included major addresses, panel presentations, informal discussion groups, and special issue seminars.
