Abstract
PROJECTS THAT HAVE SUPPLEMENTED THIS DIRECT EDUCATIONAL FOCUS ON INCREASING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PARENT WITH EFFECTIVENESS TRAINING FOR YOUTH (Y.E.T.) ARE ALSO HIGHLIGHTED. Y.E.T. CONCENTRATES ON HELPING THE CHILD LEARN MORE CONSTRUCTIVE AND SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE WAYS OF RELATING TO ADULTS AS WELL AS ESTABLISHING SATISFYING RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEERS. AN OVERVIEW OF WHAT IS TAUGHT IN Y.E.T. IS INCLUDED. RESEARCH REFERENCES AND SUPPLEMENTARY READINGS ARE ALSO PROVIDED.
