Regional Financial Management Training Seminars
Monthly Regional Financial Management Training Seminars are available for anyone involved in financial administration of formula or discretionary grant programs administered by OJP. The sessions include application process, procurement, methods of payment, matching requirements, financial reporting, indirect costs, confidential funds, program income, up-to-date information on grant-related financial regulations and Office of Management and Budget circulars, and hand-on exercises. The seminars are free to recipients of Department of Justice funding.
DOJ Financial Guide
The DOJ Grants Financial Guide serves as a primary reference manual to assist award recipients in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibility to safeguard grant funds and ensure funds are used for the purposes for which they were awarded. The Guide should serve as a day-to-day management tool for OJP award recipients and may also be used by subrecipients in administering their grant programs. The provisions of the Guide apply to all grantor agency awards.
Justice Grants System (JustGrants) Training
The JustGrants Training page has a variety of training materials including self-guided eLearning videos, which are supplemented by job aid reference guides, checklists, and infographics. These materials provide step-by-step instructions to complete various functions within JustGrants, as well as some of the administrative policies associated with Grant Adjustment Notices, Progress Reporting, and Closeouts.
