Prison Rape Elimination Act: Booz Allen Hamilton Cost Study (2010)

The Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003 (PREA) mandates that the Department of Justice promulgate regulations adopting national standards for the detection, prevention, reduction, and punishment of sexual assaults in prison. While the Department of Justice was reviewing proposed national standards prepared by the National Prison Rape Elimination Commission, it commissioned an independent contractor, Booz Allen Hamilton, to prepare a cost study of the Commission's proposed standards. That study is available here: Booz Allen Hamilton Cost Study.
