This is a monthly statistical profile of Florida's detention facilities inmate population, November 1993.
Abstract
These figures are presented in male and female categories for both adult and juvenile inmates. The figures are also classified as felony, misdemeanor, and "other" subcategories. Within both felony and misdemeanor subcategories, the number of inmates held for trial or sentencing and those detained or sentenced for violation of probation are presented. The "other" subcategory documents the number of parole violations, state inmates, undocumented aliens, holdings for other jurisdictions and individuals detained under mental health and alcoholism provisions. In addition, the average daily population figures, incarceration rates for each county, and the number of overcrowded county detention facilities and pretrial inmate levels for each facility are included.
