This report contains a summary of services available from the National Institute of Corrections and requests for proposals, with the 1984 projects available for funding presented under the mandated areas of training, technical assistance, and policy and program development.
Abstract
Services are described for management training, the training of trainers, courses on emerging issues in corrections, and training for State and local corrections personnel. The types of training activities for which supporting funds are available are indicated. After describing the type of technical assistance available from the Institute as well as application procedures, specific technical assistance grants available are described.
