Abstract
THE REPORT PRESENTS YEARLY POPULATION AVERAGES FOR THE PERIOD FISCAL YEAR 1946 THROUGH FY 69, AN EXAMINATION OF MONTHLY POPULATION AVERAGES OVER THE CALENDAR PERIOD JANUARY 1965 THROUGH OCTOBER 1969, AND A POPULATION PROJECTION TWO YEARS AHEAD ON THE BASIS OF AN ANALYSIS OF MONTHLY POPULATION AVERAGES FROM DECEMBER 1967 TO OCTOBER 1969, INCLUSIVE. DESCRIPTIONS OF TRENDS IN SEVERAL INSTITUTIONAL SUB-POPULATIONS AND IMPLICATIONS OF SOME OF THE FINDINGS ARE PRESENTED.
