A general review presents information on awards and commendations to correctional personnel, refugees and persons detained under the immigration ordinance, the activities of the complaints investigation unit, triad/gang activity, psychological services, information services, staffing, accommodation, interagency cooperation, and institutional discipline. Data and information are also provided on the work of the Inspector of Prisons, health services, industries and vocational training, the inmate earnings scheme, aftercare and welfare, visiting justices and prison visitors, religion, staff, and finances. Supplementary tabular data and information are appended.
