A discussion of the pathogenesis, psychosocial outcome, and control of white-collar crime is followed by a computerized inventory of 411 relevant studies in the German criminologic literature.
Abstract
The motivation for committing white-collar crimes is analyzed, and effective preventive strategies are proposed. Police perspectives on white-collar crime and their behavior towards perpetrators are examined. The anotated bibliography is arranged alphabetically by year. The period January 1973 through August 1983 is covered. Citations list author, title, and source document identification. Most entries include an indicative abstract.
