This discussion of the legal status of crime victims in Hungary focuses on possible ways for modifying the current legal system with respect to victims.
Abstract
The article also describes the principles involved in better representing victims' interests. The authors include a university professor who is also the honorary president of a victim support organization, the head of the department at the Attorney General's Office, a Supreme Court judge, an official of the National Police, and the Assistant Attorney General of Budapest.
