In this document, the Minister of the Interior of the German State of Baden-Wuerttemberg and the President of the Baden-Wuerttemberg police discuss the increasing incidence of violence against foreigners.
Abstract
The discussion emphasizes the special role of the police in handling those activities and in preventing racially motivated acts of violence. Articles by a major corporate leader, a Catholic prelate, and the editor-in-chief of a major newspaper analyze the background of this phenomenon. All the article recommend possible solutions to the violence and ask the German public to strive for more tolerance toward foreign residents.
