Abstract
THREE EXAMPLES OF THE UTILITY OF THIS 'NONPROBABILISTIC' APPROACH TO MINIMIZING THE POSSIBILITY OF BIAS ON THE PART OF THE FORENSIC EXAMINER ARE GIVEN. THE FIRST IS CONCERNED WITH THE SIMILARITY OF PRIMATE HAIR, THE SECOND WITH GLASS, AND THE THIRD WITH SOIL. REFERENCES ARE PROVIDED.
