REPORT RESULTING FROM A STUDY OF THE FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL INVESTIGATIVE PERSONNEL.
Abstract
THE FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS OF THIS INVESTIGATION ARE OUTLINED ALONG WITH SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING THE IMPROVEMENT OF MEETING TRAINING NEEDS. THE DOCUMENT CONTAINS AN EVALUATION OF THE GOALS, DIRECTION, AND STATUS OF THE CONSOLIDATED FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING CENTER AND AN OUTLINE OF OTHER EXISTING FEDERAL INVESTIGATION TRAINING PROGRAMS. ALSO DISCUSSED ARE THE TRAINING NEEDS OF INVESTIGATORS WHO ARE NOT SCHEDULED TO PARTICIPATE AND THOSE NOT CURRENTLY BEING GIVEN ADEQUATE TRAINING IN FEDERAL PROGRAMS.
