This booklet gives travel precautions, hostage survival tips, and residential security measures for U.S. personnel serving overseas.
Abstract
It presents practical advice to increase a family's security awareness, as well as more specific advice on bomb search techniques and bomb threat procedures. Developing a family contingency plan for security-related emergencies is important as are the other suggestions for surviving while being held captive. Tips on using public transport are also included along with a sample bomb threat report form and sample residential security questionnaires.
