A PROPOSAL TO DESIGN AN INFORMATION-GATHERING SYSTEM TO IMPROVE CONTROLS OVER DISTRIBUTION OF DRUGS IN ITALY.
Abstract
THE ENACTMENT OF A NEW DRUG LAW IN ITALY, BRINGING WITH IT SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR REPORTING ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF A NUMBER OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES, PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE PLANNING FOR CONTROLS. THE AUTHOR SUMMARIZES THE VARIOUS TYPES OF DRUG INFORMATION THAT CAN BE COLLECTED FROM VARIOUS POINTS IN THE REPORTING NETWORK AND SUGGESTS THAT THIS SYSTEM COULD BE OPERATED AT RELATIVELY LOW COST IF IMPLEMENTED IN ITALY IN THE NEAR FUTURE. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED) --IN ITALIAN. SUMMARIES IN FRENCH, ENGLISH, SPANISH, AND GERMAN
