Abstract
They are presented by city, county, and State, by criminal justice function (police, courts, corrections), and within functions. On the whole, the State's criminal justice expenditures reflected national norms: 53.66 percent of total criminal justice expenditures in Ohio were for police; 21.42 percent were for corrections and 22.63 percent were for judicial agencies. Local governments contributed 47.45 percent of the finances needed for providing criminal justice services, county governments paid 24.1 percent, and the State government put up 26.75 percent. Data are presented in tables, charts, and graphs. (Author abstract modified.)
