A STUDY OF 104 JUVENILE PRISONERS AND A CONTROL GROUP OF 100 JUVENILES IN WEST GERMANY USING THE MARBURG SCALE OF PERCEIVED PARENTAL BEHAVIOR CNFIRMED THE HYPOTHESIS OF GREATER PARENTAL STRICTNESS AMONG DELINQUENTS.
Abstract
HOWEVER, CONTRARY TO ANOTHER HYPOTHESIS, THE DELINQUENTS ATTRIBUTED A GREATER DEGREE OF SUPPORTIVENESS TO THEIR PARENTS THAN DID THE CONTROL GROUP. THE INFLUENCE OF EMOTIONAL AND COGNITIVE STEREOTYPES IN THE RESPONSES IS EXPLORED BY MEANS OF SCALE INTERCORRELATIONS. --IN GERMAN. SUMMARIES IN ENGLISH AND FRENCH
