This article presents recommendations to help antidrug coalitions secure a constant and stable stream of funding in order to ensure the continuity of their programs.
Abstract
The first phase, related to existing funding sources, involves providing an inventory of past funding and assessing the viability of existing funding sources. In the second phase, coalition leaders need to explore other funding sources that exist within the community and prioritize the organization's funding list based on the feasibility of funding and amount of funding. The third phase involves developing a project budget and direction of the organization, while the final phase relates to strategic planning for the coalition's funding committee.
