Abstract
A series of tables indicates the number of all drug addicts and new drug addicts notified by police force areas of addicts to the Home Office by total and per million population. Two tables indicate new drug addicts notified and addicts renotified by police force areas as addicted to heroin during the year. Another table reports all drug addicts notified to the Home Office during the year by Regional Health Authority (England), District Health Authority (Wales), and Health Board (Scotland) of notifier. Two tables indicate the number of new addicts notified and addicts renotified to the Home Office during 1990 by country, Regional Health Authority (England), age, and sex. Other tables cover the number of all drug addicts notified to the Home Office during the year by country, Regional Health Authority (England), source of first notification, and latest injecting status. The concluding table reports on the number of deaths of drug addicts previously notified to the Home Office by country, Regional Health Authority (England), and year of death. 12 tables
