Program theft and malicious computer hacking are two very similar contemporary problems.

Abstract

The objective of this article is to offer suggestions on how to deal with them -- ideas about using front-end dial-back devices, spoof-proofing, central program purchasing for microcomputer software, and minimum prompts on your online, dial-up-access, and time-sharing systems. (Publisher abstract)
