ATTENTION IS DIRECTED TOWARD DEFICIENCIES IN THE TREATMENT THEORY WITH WHICH CORRECTIONAL AGENTS NOW ATTEMPT TO REHABILITATE OFFENDERS.
Abstract
IT IS INDICATED THAT FORMALIZED DIAGNOSTIC MODELS ARE NEEDED IN ORDER THAT A BODY OF EXPLICIT AND DETAILED STATEMENTS OF STRATEGY SPECIFIC TO DIFFERENT PROBLEMS OF TREATMENT MAY BE DEVELOPED. SEVERAL DIAGNOSTIC MODELS ARE SUGGESTED, ALONG WITH SOME TERSE STATEMENTS OF TREATMENT STRATEGY FOR VARIOUS DIAGNOSTIC TYPES. AREAS ARE INDICATED FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
