Abstract
Part I focuses on adult sexual assault victims. The protocol encompasses the elderly victim, the disabled victim, the male victim, and marital rape/sexual assault. The treatment plan covers facility, intake, reporting, support personnel, and consent. The interview addresses abuse history, indicators of child sexual abuse, assessment, development considerations for interviewing children, interviewing techniques, and medical history. Medical examination procedures are detailed, and procedures for obtaining and recording post-examination information are described.
