It also discusses developmental, biological, ethological, behavioral, psychodynamic, and sociocultural influences, including illustrative clinical cases. It examines the sexual harassment of children as well as the short-term and long-term consequences of sexual abuse and victimization. It explores cultural and ethnic influences as they are related to the child’s and family’s response to abuse. The second section assesses and evaluates sexually aggressive behavior and offers treatment options. It describes both male and female offenders as well as the determinants of sexual aggression.
