THE TWO-YEAR APPELLATE JUSTICE PROJECT INVOLVED ASSISTING THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY NARCOTICS BUREAU FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1972-73.
Abstract
PROJECT GOALS WERE TO DECREASE THE AMOUNT OF TRAFFICKING AND THE AVAILABILITY OF ILLICIT DRUGS AND TO TRAIN A TEAM OF NARCOTICS INVESTIGATORS. THE REPORT STATES THAT THE INVESTIGATORS WERE TOO BUSY MAKING ARRESTS TO PARTICIPATE IN VERY MUCH TRAINING. DATA ARE PRESENTED ON THE NUMBER OF MANHOURS EXPENDED PER PARTICIPATING AGENCY; CONFISCATIONS; PURCHASES; ARRESTS, RECORD SYSTEM; AND REFUNDING. AN INTERIM REPORT, A FIVE-YEAR PROJECTION, AND ACTIVITY CHARTS ARE APPENDED.
