In 1981, Hong Kong experienced a 3.7 percent decrease in violent crime and a 4.4 percent decrease in juvenile criminal prosecutions since the previous year. Increasing use of firearms and firearm imitations in robberies continues to be a disturbing factor in the crime scene.
Abstract
