Abstract
The program aims to help students recognize and define conflict, differentiate between different types of resolution, recognize mediation as a form of cooperative conflict resolution, and develop communication and listening skills necessary for successful mediation. The primary component of the kit includes a step-by-step outline for implementing the three-part program. There are also student worksheets and handouts, a color wall poster to remind students of the mediation process and ground rules, a brochure, and a press release.
