Abstract
Developments in Arizona's judicial system during the year concerned legislative changes to reduce strain on the criminal justice system, public access to court records, appellate process improvements, admitting prior sex offenses into evidence in criminal prosecutions, jury reforms, domestic violence and other family issues, and judicial conduct. Technological improvements were made in the judicial system's information network, juvenile tracking, probation management, court fee processing, and public access to court information. Statistics are tabulated for Arizona's Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Superior Court, juvenile courts, justice of the peace courts, and municipal courts and on juvenile and adult probation. Revenues and expenditures associated with operating Arizona's judicial system are listed. Tables and figures
