Abstract
THE REASONS BEHIND THE MOVEMENT FOR VOLUNTARY PROBATION ARE DISCUSSED AND POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES OF ITS IMPLEMENTATION ON THE PAROLE SYSTEM AND INDETERMINATE SENTENCING IS DISCUSSED.
