Contents of the societal self-protection in the socialist self-government society derive from different bases as in other social systems. Its essence is that people through different forms of cooperation take care of their own security and the security of others by trying to prevent socially dangerous acts.
Abstract
In this respect, they cooperate with the corresponding state and professional authorities and organizations. This activity is, therefore, of a high rank since the basis of the security system is the self-protection of the working people themselves and their particular and common interests. Within this system, the public prosecutor acts by analyzing social phenomena and especially the causes of criminal behavior. His role is also to notify workers of particular united labor organizations about his findings. The question arises, however, whether the legislation should not give the public prosecutor some rights to influence more actively the mechanisms of societal self-protection without interfering with the self-government rights of the working people.
