The 14th United States-Mexico Border State Attorneys General conference was held in Houston in September 1995 and focused on issues related to law enforcement along and across the border between the United States and Mexico.
Abstract
Presentations and discussions focused on the United States-Mexico Binational Commission and its activities related to Article IV prosecutions and the extradition treaty, recent changes in the Mexican judicial system and the Federal attorney's office, and efforts related to arrests and prosecutions under Article IV. Further presentations and discussions considered issues related to Mexican nationals in the United States and the Arizona/Sonora Project as a model approach to litigation along the border between the United States and Mexico and issues related to child protection and the international border.
