Abstract
A BRIEF HISTORY OF PATTERNS OF CIVIL ACTION FOR INVASION OF PRIVACY IS PRESENTED. PROVISIONS FOR PRIVACY RIGHTS IN THE AUSTRALIAN CONSTITUTION ARE ALSO CONSIDERED. ASPECTS OF INVASION OF PRIVACY DISCUSSED INCLUDE DATA SURVEILLANCE, PHYSICAL SURVEILLANCE, AND PSYCHOLGICAL SURVEILLANCE.
