This book evaluates programs that deal with and prevent child abuse through parent education.
Abstract
The book presents a concise review of what is known and not known about parent education and family support programs as vehicles for preventing child maltreatment. It also reviews the literature regarding the various approaches of parent education, areas of focus, assumptions underlying parent education and the published curricula that are available and widely used.
