QUANTITATION OF AGE-RESISTANT NON-ENZYMIC SERUM PROTEINS IN HUMAN BLOODSTAINS IS POSSIBLE IF THE HEMOGLOBIN IS FIRST REMOVED AND HAS GREAT DISCRIMINATORY POTENTIAL.
Abstract
THE CONCENTRATION OF EACH OF A NUMBER OF NON-ENZYMIC SERUM PROTEINS VARIES FROM ONE PERSONS TO ANOTHER, RAISING THE POSSIBILITY OF DISCRIMINATING BLOODSTAINS BY SERUM PROTEIN QUANTITATION. THE USE OF A TECHNICON AUTOANALYSER TO PROVIDE SERUM PROTEIN QUANTITATION BY THE NEPHELOMETRY OF THE SPECIFIC IMMUNOPRECIPITINS IS DISCUSSED. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
