Others include Genesis House, a home-style residential facility emphasizing community involvement and interaction; the Bridge, a residential program offering group, family, and individual therapy, and an education program; and the Closed Adolescent Unit of the Psychiatric Institute of Montgomery County, specializing in the treatment of concurrent mental illness and substance abuse. Finally, the Rural Adolescent Model offers residential treatment emphasizing family involvement. Each program is described in terms of location, drug abuse patterns of clients, service area and referral resources, fee structure/funding, program philosophy and operation, and target population.
