Abstract
THE RESEARCH SAMPLE FOR THIS STUDY WAS COMPOSED OF 566 JUVENILE DELINQUENTS DRAWN FROM A REPRESENTATIVE GROUP OF REFERRALS TO THE FRENCH JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM BETWEEN OCTOBER 1964 AND OCTOBER 1965. THIS PART OF THE ANALYSIS FOCUSES ON THE STATISTICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF VARIOUS SCHOOL, PERSONALITY, AND FAMILY VARIABLES ON EACH OF THREE TYPES OF SCHOOL MALADJUSTMENT - MALADJUSTMENT TO SCHOOL WORK, TO SCHOOL GROUPS, AND TO SCHOOL IN GENERAL.
