Abstract
This Web page at www.ojp.usdoj.gov present information on the Office of Justice Programs' (OJPs') program plan initiatives for 2014. The programs and initiatives of OJP are aimed at improving the criminal and juvenile justice systems, increasing knowledge about crime and related issues, and assisting crime victims. The 10 initiatives for 2014 are 1) Initiatives to Address a Wide Range of Criminal and Juvenile Justice Issues; 2) Breaking the Cycles of Mental Illness, Substance Abuse, and Crime; 3) Preventing and Intervening in Juvenile Offending and Victimization; 4) Managing Offenders to Reduce Recidivism and Promote Successful Reentry; 5) Effective Interventions to Address Violence, Victimization, and Victims' Rights; 6) Enhancing Law Enforcement Initiatives; 7) Supporting Innovation in Adjudication; 8) Advancing Technology to Prevent and Solve Crime; 9) Innovations in Justice Information Sharing; and 10) Resources to Address Justice Issues in Tribal Communities.
