Abstract
THIS BIBLIOGRAPHY SUPPLEMENTS THE CULVER BIBLIOGRAPHY OF CRIME AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE 1932-1937 AND COVERS THE NEXT 25 YEARS. HAS INFORMATION DRAWN FROM THE FIELDS OF PSYCHIATRY, PSYCHOLOGY, MEDICINE, EDUCATION, SOCIOLOGY, SOCIAL WELFARE, AND CRIMINOLOGY. THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF OFFENDERS ARE INCLUDED: ARSONISTS, GAMBLERS, EMBEZZLERS, GANG MEMBERS, FEMALE OFFENDERS, STATUS OFFENDERS, AND ROBBERS. CAUSAL FACTORS EXAMINED ARE FAMILY, ECONOMICS, DRUGS, COMMUNITY, HEREDITY, INSTITUTIONAL TREATMENT, MEDIA, INTELLIGENCE, AND SOCIAL CONDITIONS.
