EVALUATION OF A PROJECT THAT WAS CREATED TO PROVIDE CRIME PREVENTION AND DIVERSION SERVICES TO YOUTHS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 7 AND 11 IN THE NORTHEAST WILMINGTON AREA FROM SEPTEMBER, 1975 TO AUGUST, 1976.
Abstract
EMPLOYING THE FAMILY ORIENTED CASE COORDINATION APPROACH, THE PROJECT TEAM SOUGHT TO COORDINATE SERVICES WHICH VARIOUS EXISTING AGENCIES PROVIDED TO FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN IN TROUBLE. EXAMINATION OF THE PROJECT'S RECORDS REVEALED THAT THE STAFF MET FREQUENTLY WITH CLIENTS, FAMILIES, AND OTHER AGENCIES INVOLVED WITH THEIR CLIENTS. A TOTAL OF 35 INDIVIDUALS WERE SERVED BY THE PROJECT AND 130 FAMILY MEMBERS RECEIVED SERVICES. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)...KAP
