Abstract
Both murder and assault are more common in Finland and Sweden than in Norway and Denmark for this period, although rape appears to have increased in Denmark and Norway but not in Finland during the 1970's. Robbery, theft, and fraud offenses are also tabulated. Six references and graphs are provided.
