Significant data and relevant information concerning the activities of the New Jersey State Police in 1979 are presented in this annual report.
Abstract
The powers and duties and organization of the State police are discussed, followed by separate chapters on the various sections of the agency. Information is presented about the superintendents's special staff section, including the intelligence bureau, the central security bureau, and the casino gaming bureau. The division staff section, encompassing the computer bureau, planning bureau, and internal affairs and division services bureau, is discussed, along with the various bureaus of the administration section, the investigations section, records and identification section, and special and technical services section. Charts, maps, and photographs are included.
