THE GENERAL EFFECTS OF THESE NEW DIMENSIONS ARE DISCUSSED WITH REGARD TO CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEMS - LEGISLATORS, CRIMINAL JUSTICE ADMINISTRATORS, THE POLICE, THE PRISONS, AND THE COURTS. THE AUTHOR STATES THAT TO OVERCOME THIS NEW CRIME WAVE, WE, AS A SOCIETY, MUST STOP TOLERATING IT AND CLOSE LEGAL LOOPHOLES THAT PERMIT IT.
