Surveys were sent to approximately 4,500 criminal justice practitioners and academicians throughout the United States and to about 1,600 colleges, universities, and professional associations to provide accurate and authoritative information on national criminal justice consultants and training facilities in alphabetical order by State.
Abstract
An index accompanies the information on consultants and facilities and presents a breakdown of consultants by areas of specialization. Information compiled from each Consortium Consultant Survey provides respondent and educational information as well as areas of specialization, consulting experience, consultation fees, availability, and any additional information respondents regard as germane for the purposes of describing their professional accomplishments and expertise. The data gathered from each Survey of Microcomputer-Based Facilities includes facility information, a contact person, instructional aids, availability, type of organization and fees, and local accommodations.
