Abstract
The NADCP Mentor Drug Court Network is an innovative and cost-effective approach to the development of drug courts. Fostering the development of educational and training resources at the local, regional, and State levels, NADCP provides a referral system that links those resources to requests for assistance from jurisdictions planning to implement or enhance their drug court systems. Regional mentor drug court sites have been selected, reflecting different populations, drug-abuse problems, and drug court structures. These mentor courts will be available for independent visits by representatives of interested jurisdictions within and outside the region. Mentor sites will be repositories of materials, information, and consultative services for each region. The first seven Mentor Drug Courts have completed 1 year of service, hosting hundreds of visits and thousands of visitors. This booklet lists the sites, outlines the protocol steps for a site visit, and presents the operating schedules and forms pertinent to a site visit. Also included are brief descriptions of the seven mentor drug court programs, with contact persons listed.
