Abstract
Tables reporting crimes known to the police for the months May and June list offenses by province, by groups of municipalities, by the nature of the offense, and according to the reporting police authority (i.e., State and municipal police and the Royal Marechausse). Judicial statistics show civil cases handled in the first half year 1981 by the district court. Crime victims, 1980, are represented in graphs by age and sex; crime reporting to the police is delineated by nature of the offense. Additional data are given on bankruptcies for July 1981, fires for May 1981, and assistance by fire brigades during 1980. The report consists entirely of tabular material.
