This report contains police reported crime statistics of the Netherlands for February 1982.
Abstract
Tabulated data show crimes recorded by the State and municipal police and the Royal Marechaussee (RM) in terms of cases investigated and of nonindictable offenses per province. Data are given according to groups of municipalities and according to the nature of the offense. Also shown are State and municipal and RM recorded nonindictable offenses for which prosecution was evaded by payment of fines and traffic offenses recorded by the State Transport Inspector. Adoption statistics from the district courts and the courts of appeal are also included, as are prison statistics citing the population of penal institutions in the Netherlands. Additional tables give data on bankruptcies for March 1982 and fires for February 1982. The bulk of the document contains graphs and tabular data.
