This report contains police reported crime statistics of the Netherlands for December 1981.
Abstract
Tabulated data show crimes recorded by the State and municipal police and the Royal Marechaussee (RM) in terms of cases investigated and of nonindictable offenses per province. Data are given according to groups of municipalities and according to the nature of the offense. Also shown are State and municipal and RM recorded nonindictable offenses for which prosecution was evaded by payment of fines and traffic offenses recorded by the State Transportation Inspector. Statistics for 1981 are given on nonindictable offenses for which prosecution was evaded, on economic offenses, and on civil cases in the district courts. Additional tables show data on shoplifting for the first three quarters of 1981, bankruptcies for January 1982, and fires for December and the whole year 1981. Tabular data constitute the bulk of the document.
