THE TACTICAL OPERATIONS SYSTEM IS DEFINED AS CONSISTING OF THE OPERATIONAL SUBSYSTEMS OF PATROL AND COMMUNICATIONS.
Abstract
IT PERFORMS THE MAJORITY OF THOSE ACTIVITIES THROUGH WHICH THE DEPARTMENT FINDS, CONFRONTS AND ATTEMPTS TO CORRECT DEVIATIONS WITHIN THE ENVIRONMENT. THE STUDY AND EVALUATION OF PROCEDURES, AS OPPOSED TO POLICIES, IS THE MAIN CONCERN OF THIS PAPER. THE PAPER DESCRIBES IN MORE DETAIL THE FUNCTIONS OF THIS SYSTEM AND ITS TWO MAJOR SUBSYSTEMS, COMMUNICATIONS AND PATROL. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
