SUCCESS OF REINSTATED PAROLEES WHO HAD SERVED SHORT TERMS ARE COMPARED WITH THOSE WHO SERVED LENGTHY PRISON SENTENCES.
Abstract
THE HYPOTHESIS WAS THAT REINSTATED PAROLEES, AFTER SERVING A JAIL TERM, WOULD SHOW A SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER INCIDENCE OF FAVORABLE PAROLE OUTCOME THAN THOSE FROM RESULTS REVEALED THAT THE TWO COMPARISON GROUPS PERFORMED EQUALLY WELL UPON RELEASE.
