Abstract
Information is provided on criminal laws, such as sexual offenses and domestic violence, that affect women in Delaware. Explanations as to what constitutes the offenses and what a woman can do about being victimized are presented. Domestic relations issues, such as divorce, support, and custody, are reviewed. The rights of an individual while legally married are focused upon. Specific, on-the-job discriminatory practices are described, and how to file a formal complaint is explained. Other employment issues are pregnancy and sexual harassment. Information about laws affecting four major areas of personal financial management: taxes, credit, social security, and public assistance, is provided.
