Abstract
The first volume explains the parts of speech, sentence structure, spelling, correct usage, the development of a paragraph, methods of assuring accuracy in note-taking, the organization of reports based on field notes, and report writing. The second volume presents all exercises, drills, diagnostics, and tests for the topics in the first volume. The text and workbook include forms, fact sheets, pre- formatted outlines focusing on common topics in law enforcement, fill-in forms, report form boxes, and sample reports. Photographs, checklists, examples of proper and improper usage, and index
